Samsung T369 unlock code: here’s what you’ll learn

There’s no big mystery surrounding unlocking mobile phones anymore; in the past it used to be a service not offered by many that involved hunting through cell phone unlock forums to dig out an unlock code. Of the remote unlocking services that were available, many of them didn’t offer a guarantee and some were little more than scammers.

Happily all of this has changed now and it’s never been easier, or safer, to find an unlock code that works via an online supplier, a local mobile repair shop or your network carrier. Whilst the latter is definitely your safest bet, it’s also the most expensive and can only be used if you’re on a PAYG contract or if your handset is more than 12 months old.

Online mobile unlocking services vary in reliability and safety so it’s a good idea to do a little reading before you choose a supplier to ensure that the supplier you choose is reputable. This is because if you don’t use your carrier for an unlock code, then you should take care to make sure that you obtain a correct unlock code as a wrong code can render your phone useless, if entered more than three times.

Getting an unlock code from a remote supplier may invalidate your warranty so take care to make sure that they offer a full guarantee that their services will work and that you can find contact details for them easily from their site. Checking out suppliers on eBay is a great resource as you can check their feedback and are generally covered by PayPal should anything go wrong.

Once you’ve found an unlock code supplier, you will need to find your IMEI number, which can be done by typing in *#06# on your phone’s keypad. Once you have done this, take extra care to make sure that you have it written down correctly, otherwise your supplier will send you the wrong code.

All unlock codes for Samsungs are unique to each individual handset so there is no generic code that can be used to unlock Samsung T369 phones.

Once you have your IMEI and a supplier, do the following:

  • Give the supplier your IMEI, country and network information
  • Pay the fee and receive your unlock code
  • Insert an unaccepted SIM into the phone and power on
  • You will be prompted for an unlock code, enter it
  • Reboot your phone and it should be unlocked

If this doesn’t work, you may need to do the following:

  • Remove the SIM from the handset and power on
  • Type in: #0111*UNLOCK CODE# (unlock code is the number sent by your supplier
  • The handset should display ‘phone unrestricted’ or similar

If this still doesn’t work, then contact your supplier immediately and they should be only too happy to help. Do not attempt to repeatedly enter the unlock code after you have tried the above as this will damage your handset.
